Tuesday June 17 is the beginning of the next 4 sessions of Go for life. You can join BMB Active by coming along at 12.00 on Tuesdays for an hour of gentle, fun movement and games in Multyfarnham Community Centre. Willow Woman on Wednesday
On June 18, at 10.30 Helena Golden, The Willow Woman, will give a workshop in crafting with Willow in Multyfarnham Community Centre. Helena will provide participants with quality, home grown willow materials and ensure that each participant goes home with a bespoke woven willow product of their own making. Changing Gears, Age and Opportunity
Mullingar Library is the venue for a support series of talks on dealing with transition and significant life challenges. It aims to enable skill development in, for example, taking stock, building resilience, and making changes including bouncing forward in life. Derravaragh Road Race
Ballinafid Multyfarnham Community Services 5/10 mile Derravaragh Road Race on Sunday June 22. This is now an annual event that draws many regular runners for both distances on a scenic course up, down and around the hills and vales surrounding Lough Derravaragh. To register please go on line to MyResults.com. It is also a great event for spectators and those supporting athletes to enjoy the ambiance and have refreshments in the Lakeside Diner on the shore of Derravaragh.
Condolences
It was with sadness that we all learned of the death of Phil Lynch, Cappagh, Ballinalack, in the Regional Hospital, Mullingar. Phil will be remembered as a kind, helpful person who will be mourned by his sisters Mary, Kathleen, Brodie, Teresa, and his brother Paddy, brother-in-law Martin, sister- in-law Joanne extended family and friends.
