Handmade Christmas Market in Streete Parish Park

The Handmade Christmas Market at Streete Parish Park takes place this Sunday, November 30, in a fully heated indoor venue.

Now in its third year, the market has been a magnificent success, says one of the organisers, Denise Tighe. The community centre will be brimming with festive cheer, and more than 50 vendors will be showcasing local artisans, handmade crafts, mouth-watering food, and the warm spirit of the season. It’s the perfect opportunity for talented crafters to display their unique gifts and delicious seasonal treats.

Admission on the day is free, making it the ideal place to meet neighbours, catch up with friends, and enjoy some early Christmas shopping.

Santa and Mrs Claus will be there to greet the little ones, offering special pre-Christmas treats to spark excitement for on Christmas morning. Visiting Santa is free, but booking is essential – text 087 223 9184 to secure a spot. The parish park committee acknowledge that none of that would be possible without the dedication and hard work of the organising team, who begin planning for the next market almost as soon as the current one ends.

This year, all funds raised will go to Barnardos Children’s Charity, making your visit even more meaningful, so gather friends, family, and all the Christmas cheer you can muster, and head to the Streete Handmade Christmas Market on Sunday November 30 (11am-5pm): Streete Parish Park, N91 RC43.
