Westmeath CIL pay tribute to outgoing chairperson

The staff and board members of the Westmeath Centre for Independent Living have paid tribute to Pat McLoughlin as he steps down from his role as chairperson.

Pat was the first chairperson of the centre, when it was founded 25 years ago, and he spent 20 of those years in that position. In their tribute, the staff and board members said Pat’s ability, good humour and wit made the job look easy. Over the years difficult decisions had to be made but Pat was always ready to help come to the right conclusion.

In his address on stepping down, Pat mentioned that he was going nowhere, and his colleagues at the centre look forward to his continued support, 2as the meetings would not be the same without your attendance”.

“The staff and board members of Westmeath CIL would like to wish you and your wife Gabrielle all the best,” said Brian Farrell, on behalf of staff and board members.
