Detty Cornally Volunteer Award

Debbie Newman is the first winner of The Detty Cornally Volunteer Award, established by Mullingar Shamrocks GAA in memory of a woman who made a massive contribution to the club.

At an event on Saturday, club chairperson David Nohilly spoke of Debby’s contribution to the club over the years and Eoin Cornally made the trophy presentation on behalf of the Cornally family.

Members of the Cornally family and a number of Detty’s friends were present to mark the occasion.
