The Annual Community and Cathaoirleach Awards celebration, now in its 20th year, will take place in Belvedere House and Gardens this evening, June 5.

The event will see awards presented throughout various categories which include:

• Pride of place Awards

• Age Friendly Recognition Awards

• STEM Awards (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Eco-schools Awards

• Tidy Towns Awards

• Community Project of the Year

• Residents Association Project of the Year

• The Prestigious Cathaoirleach Awards for Person/ Group of the year 2026.
