Westmeath make two changes for Monaghan clash
Westmeath manager Mark McHugh has made two changes to his starting team for the Round 3 All-Ireland SFC clash against Monaghan in St Tiernach's Park, Clones on Sunday at 4pm.
Shane Ormsby, who replaced the injured Ray Connellan after 39 minutes of the Round 2A loss to Galway, retains his centrefield position, while Adam Treanor will deputise for Danny Scahill in the full back line.
John Heslin retains his place in the starting team having been a late inclusion for Shane Corcoran prior to the start of the game in Pearse Stadium on Sunday last.
Connellan has been listed as one of the four players on the team's standby list submitted to Croke Park.
With a number of injury concerns, there is a possibility of personnel changes to the team prior to throw-in on Sunday afternoon.
A win will see the Lake County advance to the quarter-final stage of the All-Ireland series, while a loss will bring to an end the Leinster champions' season.
The game will be televised live on the GAA's streaming channel, GAA+.
Westmeath (team v Monaghan)
Monaghan manager Gabriel Bannigan has made no changes to his team's starting line up for Sunday's fixture.
Bannigan has put his faith in the same players who defeated Roscommon in Clones on Saturday last as Monaghan aim to claim successive wins over reigning provincial champions.
