More All-Ireland success for Westmeath at Fleadh Cheoil
There has been more success for Westmeath Comhaltas at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Belfast, including more All-Ireland winners.
Caomhán McGabhann from the Ballynacargy branch has won the All-Ireland Senior Concertina competition.
As well as that Kate O'Hora (first) and Emily Evans (second) have tasted success in the Mandolin U12 competition.
Their tutor is Joe Connaire, whose students Aoife and Anna Dunleavey also had wins, yesterday.
There have been other great results for Westmeath Comhaltas too, including for Darragh McCabe, who took bronze in the 15-18 English Singing, and the U18 Half Set team, Conor Wallace, Amelia Molloy, Ronan Conway and Grace Lambden, and tutor Niamh Penrose, who took second place
