New veterinary practice celebrates award nomination
The team at Uisneach Veterinary, Mullingar’s newest independently owned veterinary practice, are inviting the local community to an open day this Saturday as they celebrate their nomination for Veterinary Practice of the Year at the 2026 National Pet Awards Ireland.
Pets are welcome too – on leads or in carriers.
Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, Peter Burke, TD, will perform the official opening at 2pm on Saturday, September 5.
Members of the public are invited to have a look around the modern clinic at Unit 6A Zone A, Mullingar Business Park, N91VR60, between 12 and 3pm, meet the vets and staff and find out what facilities and services they offer for both companion and farm animals. There will be lots of free goodies given out, too.
The team are excited about their nomination for a national award, a huge achievement for such a young practice and a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment of the team as they build their new business, providing 24-hour veterinary care.
The practice has large animal offices in Moyvore and Ballymahon, and has been receiving positive feedback since opening in Mullingar late last year. The hope is the open day will give them the chance to thank those who have already supported them and give local people the opportunity to discover more about what they offer.
