Terry Toal is to take on Fr Robery McGivney in a Lip Sync battle so great it is reminiscent of the Westmeath v Meath game last year!

Westmeath take on Meath in Lip Sync Battle

The countdown has begun to one of the greatest battles this year, the Lip Sync Battle, at the Mullingar Arts Centre in aid of TEAM and Teach Failte.

On Friday April 22 and Saturday April 23, over 20 well known faces will take to the stage, going head-to-head battling it out to be crowned the Lip Sync champion.

With the audience fired up in support of their own favourite, one of the most intriguing battles features local business man Terry Toal, who will go up against the newest addition to Cathedral House, Fr Robert McGivney!

Commenting on his opponent, Terry was quite adamant, '’I see this as a straightforward Westmeath v Meath battle and I expect Robert to relive the worst moment of his Ordination Day, Westmeath 3-19 Meath 2-18 !... or the equivalent in Lip Sync terms!'’

In response, Fr Robert clearly feels that '’Westmeath’s flukey first in a lifetime Championship win on that day will not be repeated for another 30 years at least and I will be laying down a marker for the resurgence of Meath dominance once again.”

That sounds like fighting talk! Make sure not to miss out as this is one battle you wiil definitely want to witness!
