Raw Sessions for Grouse Lodge

A champion new series started on RTÉ last week called "The Raw Sessions", which is definitely worth checking out.Featuring eight prominent Irish bands, the series gives and insight into the writing, recording and mixing of an original single.Presented by recording artist, actor and producer Dez Ryan, "The Raw Sessions" shows two bands each week make a new single in just 12 hours, and because it is interactive, it lets viewers vote for their favourite artist and download their favourite tracks from the show"s website at www.therawsessions.ie.The artists receiving the most votes move to the next round and get the chance to record another new song at Grouse Lodge recording studio in Co Westmeath.Last week The Raw Sessions featured Sweet Jane and RSAG, and in the coming weeks, viewers will get to see acts like the Dirty Epics, Sickboy, the Infomatics and Noise Control, Majella Murphy and Hoarsebox battle it out for a chance in the final.Watch it out this Tuesday night on RTÉ Two at 11:45pm.
