Mullingar's JP heading for Le Mans
Thirteen-year-old Mullingar karting star JP Sleator has just three years of professional racing under his belt, and he has already achieved so much.
He is the current All-Ireland Cadet Karting Champion, and in March of this year, he moved up to a higher class, IAME X30 Junior. He achieved great results throughout the year in the Motorsport Ireland Championship and also competing in the UK.
As if that wasn’t enough, he has been called up for the Irish team to compete in an international karting competition at the world famous Le Mans in France.
This will be an amazing and very competitive and challenging event, but St Finian’s College, Mullingar student JP reckons he is up to the task.
