Starting today, Tuesday, the Greville and Ulysses Pub are celebrating the Cheltenham Festival until Friday March 14.

The fun doesn’t stop on Friday though, as there is lots on over St Patrick’s weekend.

One of the big events before St Patrick’s Day is the Six Nations Ireland vs France match, when Ulysses is running lots of free competitions and a pint of Guinness with Irish stew is only €10.

On the music front Ginger Biscuits are playing on Friday night; Cornerstone on Saturday, and on Sunday, it’s the Fleadh Boys at 5pm and Whiskey River at 10pm.

On St Patrick’s Day, you are invited to join in the fun with live traditional music after the Mullingar parade from 5pm (downstairs) and Fintan Cahill (upstairs). Later that evening, there’s an opportunity to conclude the national holiday in the company of Tara Shamrock from 10pm.
