Luan Gallery have announced their popular artist talk is back with Mel French, from Streete.
‘Ask the Artist’ Episode 5 takes place on Saturday September 26, 2-3pm.
No booking is required but places are limited.
The artist Mel French will do a guided tour of her work and then our artist in the community, Clodagh Kelly, will facilitate a Q&A session there after over tea and coffee.
Aedin McGinn, assistant manager, said: “Mel’s work is simultaneously traditional and contemporary, it is always interesting and occasionally uncomfortable and this quirky combination will make for a very exciting show.
“This will also be our first exhibition of sculpture so it is also something new for our local audience here in Athlone.”
The talk is open to the public, free of charge, with tea and coffee served.
