Eating disorders can be difficult to understand and can often mistakenly be taken to be about food.

It can be a daunting task to acknowledge a problem and take the first steps towards living without the eating disorder, both for the person themselves but also for family and friends.

This talk will help people to understand what is happening to a person when they develop an eating disorder and why it is so hard for a person when they develop an eating disorder and why it is so hard for a person to let it go.

Family and friends can play an important part in this and this talk will help family and friends learn how to do this.

The talk is on from 7pm to 9.30pm on Monday, November 23 in Mullingar Park Hotel, organised by Soroptimists, Mullingar. Admission is free.
