Conor Quinn announces new band

Remember Conor Quinn from The Voice of Ireland?

Well the Castletown Geoghegan lad was recently signed by the Red Hot Management label and has a new band too – and they are about to release their debut EP, Golden Kids.

Over the last year Conor has been busy working on his new material and is collaborating with award winning London producer Tom Fuller and his former Voice of Ireland mentor Bressie on his new songs.

Musicians from all over Ireland came to audition for Conor band recently at the Yo Yo Cafe, and the result is a fantastic mix of talented song writers and super musicians who capture the unique sound and moods of Conor’s lyrics.
One such singer/songwriter is Sinead McNally from Dundalk, who plays piano keyboard. She won Best Female Artist at the Music Review Unsigned Awards in December.

Also on board is Gus Crawford Collins from Wicklow, a young professional drummer, who is an engineer and music producer at Crab Lane Studios.

Longford’s Kevin Farrell is an accomplished guitarist, as well as a talented Mandala player, whose unique style will benefit the band immensely.

And Liam O’Reilly, Conor’s cousin, has previously worked with Conor on various projects. From Mullingar, Liam will play the bass guitar in is unique style.

Conor has recently launched his new website www.conorquinnmusic.com, where fans can find snippets of his new songs which will feature on Golden Kids, to be released shortly. You will also find videos, pictures and links to Conor’s social network sites.

Keep watching the website for details of gigs around the country, including one in Danny Byrne’s.
