‘Invite Duffy and Tynan too', say councillors

It’s not just Bruce Springsteen that should be invited to Westmeath’s Gathering, but also, Dallas star, Patrick Duffy, who has family ties to Kinnegad.

That’s the call made by Cllr Denis Leonard, who spoke at Westmeath County Council’s March meeting.

Added to the list of invitees also, at the suggestion of Cllr Fintan Cooney was soprano Ailish Tynan.
