Mullingar athletic qualify for mcdonalds fai future football finals in aviva

The McDonald’s FAI Future Football Regional Final, which took place recently in Navan, saw Mullingar Athletic’s U8 team compete against seven other teams in their category to claim their place in the McDonald’s Future Football Final in Dublin on October 11.

Eleven clubs from six counties took part in the regional qualifier day with six teams at different age groups going through to the final.

The McDonald’s FAI Future Football Regional Day brings the qualifying teams from the 24 different McDonald’s FAI Future Football Fun Days, which took place throughout the summer together for a chance to win their place in the final.

McDonald’s FAI Future Football aims to provide a fun and friendly environment for players at grassroots level to develop their skills.

McDonald’s restaurants in Mullingar, which are owned and operated by Sean Corcoran, hosted the recent Fun Day, when Mullingar Athletic were one of the qualifying teams.

They will now go forward to face seven other teams in the McDonald’s FAI Future Football Final.
