Lions Club Easter cycle for charity

The Lions Club Easter Charity Cycle on Easter Saturday – March 26 – will be suitable for cyclists of all abilities, as there is a choice of 40km or 90km routes.

Both start from Shandonagh GAA Centre at 10am (registration, €25, is from 9am).

The 40k route is safe and on the new greenway, from Shandonagh to Streamstown and back.

The 90k route is from Shandonagh to Garrycastle, Athlone, leaving the greenway at Athlone IT, and returning via Moate, Tyrrellspass to the GAA centre.

Refreshments will be available at the rest stops and at Shandonagh GAA centre, and there will be cycling T-shirts for the first 100 participants.

Proceeds of the event will go to 'Promoting Positive Mental Health in the Midlands’, and funding the Lions Club booklet, Myself.
