Trend Technologies wins prestigious Plastics Industry Award

Trend Technologies Mullingar is celebrating having won a prestigious Plastics Industry Award for Best Training and Development Programme 2018.

Producer, entertainer and former Strictly Come Dancing pro Brendan Cole presented Theresa O’Connell, HR manager, with the award in front of an audience of industry professionals at a dinner at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Friday last, September 28.

The Award recognises the investment Trend Technologies has made in employees and the calibre of the courses and qualifications its team members hold. 

Ms O’Connell said: “I am proud of the commitment of our employees in both their personal development and in the development of support we offer our customers – our people are the pillar of our success.”

Trend Technologies is a specialist high volume supplier of technically complex precision injection moulded plastic components.

The winning programme outlines a number of training and development initiatives the company is currently engaging with, including Developing Future Plastics Leaders Initiative and Industry and Education Partnership Initiative.
