20 patients on trolleys at MRH Mullingar

There were 20 people being treated on trolleys at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar this morning.

According to the INMO's Trolley Watch survey, the 20 patients were being treated in the hospital's Emergency Department.

Nationally, there were 215 people being treated on trolleys this morning, 183 in EDs and 32 on trolleys in wards. The hospital with the highest number of patients on trolleys this morning was University Hospital Limerick, where there were 48, followed by Cork (44). There were 12 patients on trolleys in the ED at Tullamore hospital.
