Mary puts hip recovery walks to use for PTAA

If you have any dealings with the Pioneer Association in recent years you will have heard of the name of Mary Brady.

Mary has been involved at every level of the association and was also in the National Pioneer office in Fairview, Dublin, for several years.

She has travelled the length and breadth of the country for the Gradam Awards and devoted huge amounts of time and energy to promoting the Pioneer message of Temperance.

At the moment, Mary is recovering from a hip replacement operation and all wish her a full and speedy recovery. In the meantime, she has decided to put her recovery walks to good use and the following fundraising page has been created http://www.idonate.ie/MarysWalks4PTAA.

Because of Covid-19, the PTAA cannot hold the usual socials, dinner dances and church gate collections, and this is a great way to give something that will help spread the message of temperance and moderation throughout the world today, through the pledge in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

People are asked to donate and also to spread the word about this fundraiser and encourage friends and colleagues to donate if they can.

It would be a great tribute to someone who has always put her heart and soul into the Pioneer Association.
