Blessing of the Animals event at St Paul's Church next week

Local pet owners are invited to a Blessing of the Animals event to celebrate the Feast of St Francis on Saturday, October 3, in the St Paul’s Church car park.

Parishioners are invited to take their “beloved companions, four legged, two legged, furry, or winged, to honour God’s creation” said a member of Mullingar Parish Pastoral Assembly. “A special blessing will be shared as we gather in gratitude for the joy our pets bring.”

Primary school children are invited to bring their colouring pages and worksheets from school for a prize drawing.

“Whether your pet has feathers, fur, or scales, join us at 2pm on Saturday October 3 in the St Paul’s Church car park.”
