Community Remembrance Day ceremony at All Saints Church

The annual Remembrance Day Ceremony takes place at All Saints Church, Mullingar on Sunday 8 November at 10.30am.

This is always special occasion for the local community. "As we remember those who gave their lives in both World Wars, we also honour all those who have served in our local emergency services and civilian organisations," said Rev Ian Horner.

The ceremony provides an opportunity to hold in prayer and gratitude those continue to serve on the frontline, including members of the Civil Defence, the Order of Malta, the First Responders, the Fire Brigade and An Garda Síochána.

"We are very conscious of the vital part their members play in keeping our communities safe."

"We will also be delighted to have representation from ONE, IUNVA, the 4th Field Artillery Regiment Association, the Military Police Association, and the Royal British Legion."

Everyone is welcome on the day.
