“As sixth year head, I am extremely proud of all our students following the release of this year’s Leaving Certificate results last Friday,” said Michelle Kelly of St Finian’s College.

“At St Finian’s, we are thrilled to share that four of our students achieved more than 600 points – an exceptional achievement that reflects outstanding dedication and hard work.

“Equally, we celebrate every one of our students who reached their potential on their own unique path, many of whom did so under challenging personal circumstances or across a wide range of abilities.”

Ms Kelly said all at St Finian’s are especially proud of the remarkable success of their first cohort of Ukrainian students. “Your resilience, determination, and positivity have been truly inspiring,” she told them.

She said a particular highlight this year is one student’s extraordinary achievement in earning H1s in five of her six modern languages – an accomplishment that demonstrates personal talent and an admirable passion for learning.

“These successes are a testament to the commitment of our teaching staff, the unwavering support of the wider school community, and the encouragement of parents and guardians. Together, we have nurtured a group of thoughtful, motivated, and inspirational young people. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for each and every one of them.

“As always, our guidance department remains available over the coming weeks to support students with any questions or decisions they may face in the next stage of their journey.

“Once again, congratulations to the Class of 2025 – we are incredibly proud of you all.”
