Mullingar featured strongly at Midland Chamber Ball

There were Mullingar faces aplenty at the third annual Midlands Gateway Chamber Ambassadors Ball, which was held on Friday in the Tullamore Court Hotel.Vice President of Midlands Gateway Chamber Paul O'Reilly, who takes up the position of President next week, said the evening was a huge success, with many Mullingar business people featuring among the 300 in attendance on the night."We were delighted with the turnout and it made for a great networking event," said Paul who explained how their guest of honour - An Taoiseach Brian Cowen, answered some difficult questions from the audience with ease on the night."We also had Ronan Harris, Director of Sales for Google with us and he gave some very interesting advice, not just for the businesses but also for government."The focus of the evening was on how the Midlands needs to be smarter, faster and more innovative than ever before. In the year ahead, the Midlands Gateway Chamber committed itself to continue to work as an effective and focused forum for business and development interests in the region.
