BMB ARA news

Bunbrosna Multyfarnham Ballinafid Active Retirement Association are gradually resuming activities. Multyfarnham Community Centre has reopened on a restricted basis, with a lot of elbow grease applied to a strict regime, many of us have grown accustomed to, of deep cleaning, and then cleaning again.

The modus operandi is that you can never be too careful. BMB ARA friends and members are encouraged to avail of the opportunities to restart activities to promote personal wellbeing and fitness.

It is important to be mindful, taking personal responsibility by being safe, using sanitisers, and face coverings, where required.

Pitch and Putt Tuesday in Kilbeggan

Pitch and Putt at 11.30am on Tuesday July 14; €5; bring your own refreshments, outdoors toilets on site. Please text “pitch and putt” to 0871723256 if interested in joining the group. Bring your own driver and putter.

Art Workshops

Multyfarnham Community Centre, Tuesday July 21 10am, art mentor and tutor, Mary Weir, led a day workshop in the medium of watercolours this morning.

On Thursday, July 23 from 10am Mary turns her attention to acrylics. Participants are reminded to observe social distancing at all times.

There will be regular breaks during which people are encouraged to go outdoors for fresh air. It’s suggested that everyone bring their own refreshments for the workshops, and take personal responsibility for being safe, by using sanitisers, face coverage where appropriate, and availing of one person per table layout.

Thanks for your attention.

We hope to have regular News Updates as BMB ARA figures out just how to re-establish the many and varied activities of this vibrant, life affirming organisation.
