Major electrical outage in Mullingar

Over 1,300 houses in the Mullingar area are without electricity this afternoon following a major outage in the town.

The outage is in the Grange area and includes the Grange estate and neighbouring streets and housing developments.

In a notice posted online, the ESB says that the estimated time for power to be restored is 6.15pm.
