Registration for Westmeath Woman’s Shed is this weekend
Registration for one of the most lively, creative groups in the local community takes place this coming Saturday, January 27.
Westmeath Woman’s Shed started almost two years ago, and they have gone from strength to strength in that time.
They are based in the Boat House in grounds of Belvedere, and they have had range of workshops and classes.
They include woodwork, C25K, pole activator, jewellery making and other crafts.
They also have their own garden and polytunnel, but if you just want to go along for coffee and chats, that’s ok too!
Members enjoyed a number of day trips last year, and plan more fun this year.
Annual membership of €50 gives full access to grounds of the estate.
A spokeswoman said: “We are all about equality, friendship and you might gain a new skill or interest along the way.”
Meetings are on Wednesdays from 9.30am.
This year’s registration is Saturday, January 27, from noon to 2pm.
